One of our areas of service is helping seniors with home repairs and tasks around the house that they used to be able to do, but now they are unable to do or it has become unsafe for them to do. I began wanting to help seniors when I saw my own parents down in Georgia, struggling to do repairs and or simple things like changing hard to reach light bulbs or smoke detector batteries. Whenever I would go visit they would have a list of repairs or simple tasks that they wanted me to do. We can do simple tasks like replace smoke detectors to tasks like replace a faucet, install ceiling fans, paint a room and many other tasks around the house. Not only do we want to help seniors, but we also want to do it with honesty and integrity.
